Rapid-cooling friction-stir-welding (FSW) was used to join AZ31B magnesium alloy plates of 6 mm in thickness. The microstructure and mechanical properties in thickness direction were carefully investigated with electron backscattered diffractometer, and transmission electron microscope. The obtained results showed that ultrafine grains with high dislocation density were obtained in the top region of the weld due to liquid CO2 cooling. A large number of twins and second-phase particles were also induced in these refined grains. The basal texture intensity was significantly reduced due to the appearance of twins. The top region showed the higher strength and elongation compared with the bottom region, and the welding efficiency reached 93%. This work provided a simple and efficient strategy for manufacturing a gradient structure in the FSW Mg alloy joint.  相似文献

We describe the operation of a bench-scale stationary hydrogen energy system comprising photovoltaic (PV) panels, a water electrolyzer (Ely), metal hydride tanks fabricated using an AB-type TiFe-based alloy (TiFe-based tanks), fuel cells (FC), and batteries under various weather conditions. The FC and TiFe-based tanks are thermally coupled to transfer heat when necessary to stabilize the output power, and automatic control is provided via a building energy management system (BEMS), which plans the operating schedule up to 48 h in advance based on the weather forecast and expected demands of the building. Experiments were conducted for 24-h operation on a fine day, 48-h operations on partly cloudy and partly cloudy days, and 48-h operations on partly cloudy and rainy days in order to verify the system. Each operation was performed as planned. Our results show that it is possible to operate the hydrogen system all year round without external heat sources.  相似文献

研究了退火和固溶时效处理对热轧态TC4钛合金的力学性能和组织的影响,并考察了其冲击磨损性能。结果表明:退火处理后试样组织中转变β相增加,强度、塑性和韧性均较热轧态有所提升;而固溶时效处理后试样组织的晶粒细化且尺寸更为均匀,同时具有最高的强度,而塑性和韧性则较热轧态有所降低。经过10 h的冲击磨损试验后,退火态试样的磨损率最低,而固溶时效态试样的磨损率最高。通过磨损断口观察发现退火态试样表面冲刷犁沟较短,且终点处存在合金的塑性堆积,同时磨损面组织发生塑性变形,晶粒延展拉长。退火态试样较高的塑性和韧性有助于吸收冲击能量,因此表现出较好的耐冲击磨损性能。  相似文献

采用自保护药芯焊丝明弧堆焊技术制备五组不同钨含量的Fe-Cr-C-B-W合金. 借助金相显微镜、扫描电子显微镜、X射线衍射仪、洛氏硬度计和磨损试验机分析堆焊合金的组织及性能. 结果表明,合金的显微组织由马氏体、残余奥氏体、M7(C,B)3,M3(C,B),Fe3W3C和WC组成. 大部分钨元素被迁移到晶界生成了比WC稳定性更好的Fe3W3C缺碳复合相,堆焊层中没有典型的初生WC硬质相颗粒生成. 随着钨添加量的增多,共晶硬质相M7(C,B)3,M3(C,B)和Fe3W3C随之增多,间距减小,呈连续网状均匀分布. 当钨的添加量为12%时,堆焊层的耐磨性达到最佳.  相似文献

采用光学显微镜、扫描电镜、能谱仪及X射线衍射仪等微观分析手段,研究不同热处理工艺条件下2195铝锂合金电子束焊接头焊缝区的显微组织演变,探讨接头的焊后热处理强化机制。结果表明,焊后热处理可显著改善接头区域的显微组织,促进强化相的析出,有利于提高接头的力学性能。经过焊后固溶+双级时效热处理,焊态下接头熔合线附近存在的等轴细晶区消失,β′、θ′和T1等强化相在接头焊缝区析出,与单级时效处理工艺相比,双级时效处理的析出强化效果更为显著。力学性能测试表明,经过双级时效热处理后,接头的抗拉强度达到492.5 MPa,为母材强度的90.4%。接头拉伸断口表面存在许多小韧窝,并伴随出现解理面,接头呈韧-脆混合型断裂特征。  相似文献

The feasibility of microbial hydrogen consumption to mitigate the hydrogen embrittlement (HE) under different cathodic potentials was evaluated using the Devanathan-Stachurski electrochemical test and the hydrogen permeation efficiency η. The hydrogen permeation efficiency η in the presence of strain GA-1 was lower than that in sterile medium. The cathodic potential inhibited the adherence of strain GA-1 to AISI 4135 steel surface, thereby reducing the hydrogen consumption of strain GA-1. The adherent GA-1 cells were capable of consuming ‘cathodic hydrogen’ and reducing the proportions of absorbed hydrogen, indicating that it is theoretically possible to control HE by hydrogen-consuming microbes.  相似文献

In order to improve the process effectiveness and joint quality, ultrasonic vibrations were integrated with friction stir lap welding. Effect of ultrasonic exertion on the process and joint quality of AA 6061-T6 were investigated. Upon ultrasonic exertion, joints owned larger effective lap width, shorter hooks and improved strength. Weld fracture mode changed from a ductile–brittle mixed mode to a more ductile mode while the fracture path shifted from lap interface to beyond the stir zone. Material flow and interface defects were characterised using lap welded dissimilar aluminium alloy joints. Ultrasonic vibration improved the material flow and reduced the interfacial defects. Variations in failure load of joints were found in accordance with the variations in material flow and interfacial defects.  相似文献

Ultrasonic elliptical vibration cutting of titanium alloy Ti–6Al–4V is investigated in this research. Because products made of Ti–6Al–4V alloy are usually designed for possessing low-rigidity structures or good-quality cut surfaces, machining requirements such as low cutting forces and slow rate of tool wear need to be fulfilled for realization of their precision machining. Therefore, the ultrasonic elliptical vibration cutting is applied as a novel machining method for those products. Machinability of Ti–6Al–4V alloy by the ultrasonic elliptical vibration cutting with cemented carbide tools is examined to figure out suitable cutting conditions for precision machining of Ti–6Al–4V alloy. As experimental results, generated chips, cutting forces, and profiles of cut surfaces are indicated. A forced vibration problem occurred due to the segmented chip formation, which is also well-known in the ordinary non-vibration cutting. Therefore, characteristics of the forced vibration due to the chip segmentation are investigated in this research. Through the experiments, it is found that the frequency and magnitude of the forced vibration have relation with the average uncut chip thickness and cutting width. Especially, it is found that the averaging effect can suppress the forced vibration, i.e. the chip segmentation tends to occur randomly over the large cutting width, and hence the force fluctuations with random phases tend to cancel each other as the cutting width increases relatively against the average uncut chip thickness. Based on the investigations, a new practical strategy to suppress the forced vibration due to chip segmentation is proposed and verified. Using the proposed method significantly decreased cutting forces and good quality of surfaces are obtained when the forced vibration is suppressed compared to the ordinary non-vibration cutting results. Therefore, the results suggest that the precision machining can be realized without sacrificing the machining efficiency by increasing the width of cut and decreasing the average uncut chip thickness.  相似文献

设计了三因素四水平正交车削实验,综合运用极差分析、方差分析等方法,研究了切削参数对硅铝合金ZL109车削表面完整性的影响规律,得到了切削参数对于表面粗糙度、残余应力和显微硬度的影响程度和趋势,分析了ZL109车削表面完整性的形成机理,以期为切削参数优选提供实验和理论基础。研究结果表明,进给量f对表面粗糙度具有显著影响,切削速度v和进给量f增加会导致表面残余拉应力增大,显微硬度受切削参数的影响较小。  相似文献

利用气雾化法制备高硅铝合金粉末,采用光学显微镜(OM)、扫描电镜(SEM)等现代测试手段,分析快速凝固高硅铝合金不同粒度粉末微观组织和结构特征,研究在不同加热温度和保温时间条件下针状富铁相的转变特性及β-Si相的粗化行为。结果表明:快速凝固高硅铝合金组织主要以基体上分布有大量细小的颗粒状和针状相为特征,合金粉末在加热过程中,随着温度的升高和保温时间的延长,颗粒β-Si相有粗化趋势,针状非平衡富铁相转变为棒状或颗粒状平衡相。通过台阶式连续加热模拟试验可获得针状相基本消失且颗粒β-Si相未发生明显粗化的组织。  相似文献
